Anonymous: I know a lot of Democrats voted Santorum in the Michigan primary because it was open to both parties and because they know that Santorum doesn't have a chance in hell of winning the general election against Obama. That accounts for some of the votes at least.
I realize they did that, but I don’t understand why. I would surely hope that he doesn’t have a chance against Obama, but a lot of people somehow like Santorum for some sick reason.
